How to use Viagra
Use Viagra as directed by your doctor. Check the label on the bottle for exact dosing instructions.
• Viagra comes with an additional patient leaflet, which you should read carefully and reread each time you get Viagra refilled.
• Taking Viagra with a high-fat meal may delay the effects of Viagra.
• Take Viagra orally between four hours and 30 minutes before sexual activity (about 1 hour before is most effective).
• Do not take Viagra more often than once a day as needed, though does not need to be used on a daily basis.
• If you are taking Viagra in doses greater than 25 mg, do not take an alpha-blocker (e.g. doxazosin) within four hours of taking Viagra. Taking these medicines at the same time may cause very serious side effects such as severe low blood pressure.
